This whole game sequence is a passably exciting attempt to modernise the game passages in Fleming. I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that I find it more exciting than the poker scenes in Craig's CR (despite the annoying Metal Mickey voice).
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

More good dialogue when Largo cuts in. Then James goes back to the guard. You know, I'm enjoying this far more than I remembered.

Ah, now there we disagree!! NSNA is better than I usually give it credit for being, but it's no match for CR. Connery excepted, of course, he beats Craig hands down.

I love how Largo shuts down Fatima by switching from addressing her as "Fatima" (as he was earlier on) to calling her "Number Twelve". He can change up from his familiar modern management style, on first name terms with a subordinate colleague, to something more officious when he's rattled...

    Ah, now there we disagree!!

All because of the performances by the four principals (adversaries and spectators)

    Agreed, Brandauer is superb.

Thunderbird Too! The tension of those scenes and the quality of the music in CR-06 is beautifully done.

Maybe its because I have had a beer or two but I can hear the actors voice through the cylon filter. - That's lazy!
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

    The bike chase is feeble.

I like it. It just needs Bill Conti's 'A Drive In The Country' from FYEO, or some such, played against it...

Great scene. Great dialogue. "There was this girl in Philadelphia..."

Actually that was a very special Renault.
Faster than a 911 back then.

My version must have had some extra footage included. Am sadly fast-forwarding through one of my favourite scenes in the movie: "Sprud your legs!"

I think he was offered this but told them his loyalties were with the Broccoli camp. Good man.

I think our players do different speeds. I'm often ahead.

    "Not Perfected yet!"

I don't know, Fatima's Wicked Witch Of the West Moment is funny, sad and weirdly surreal all at once.
