There's about a minute's difference again. She just got into the cab here.

The German Expressionist style set design is an odd, but enjoyable choice for this section of the film. Reminiscent of the likes of Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari.

The interior set is very much The Cabinet Of Dr Caligari. Perhaps also reflecting Ken Adam's German Expressionist aesthetic over in the main series.

The Mata Hari school is a fun set and so is the sequence!

The weird dynamic between Anna Quayle and Ronnie Corbett is a bit like that between Scaramanga and Nick Nack...

Best bit yet to come. I use the word "best" only in comparison

Several EON Bond alumni in this auction scene: Kronsteen, Ling, Strap... anybody I'm missing?

SMERSH isn't a Russian organisation in this film. But this is the only Bond film to give a key role to SMERSH. It's only name-checked in FRWL and it's used as a red herring in TLD

I'll say this: as a heterosexual male, the costumes for the women in this film are definitely...sufficient.

The women are all highly decorative but also strong characters in the film.

I am, simply because I don't drink. This film is making me reconsider that, though.

    Me too ...

Can anyone, based on past or current experience, say if this movie is any good while under the influence of alcohol or drugs?

Hilarious when Sellers just punches the passport control guy in the face. Sort of parodies Bond punching the widow in the face in the TB PTS.

Not that it makes the movie any more enjoyable :#
