I would love Martyn Ford as the henchman. The guy‘s a monster and would certainly bring the Jaws-vibes if done correctly.

I'm sure it happens, I cant speak for every closed film set of course but from my limited experience working on one only the stars themselves are free to take and post some pictures. Everyone else has to either check their cell into a electronically sealed cell phone case before entering or leave it in the staging area, even during rehearsals. Some daring idiot will always tries to take pictures anyway though.

Never had to hand my phone in on any set. If you are there, then you have signed an NDA at some point, and you know the rules. There is a lot of trust in the industry.
Spy shots do get out, but if they are attributed to you , then I'm pretty sure you won't ever be working there again (if not the industry).
Had a subby take photos of a set once (not during filming I might add), who got caught. That company is now banned from that particular site. Opened up a world of pain at the time I can tell you

I've found that even NDA dont deter some people. Which is why the electronically sealed cell phone cases are used only once enough people sneaking pictures of the stars/sets are caught and thrown out. As others have said though I dont think that's Craig in the picture and since the picture is still posted its not breaking any rules.

Indeed! Odd then that he doesn't appear in any pictures with Rachel.

It does seem a little strange, but I would not want to read too much into it. Perhaps he realises that pictures with him in  prior to filming might eclipse what was his wife's night. We are of course dying to see what he looks like but not long to wait now. I expect that he's in good shape as he is very much a professional. If I were a betting man my guess is that he will be more like the CR shape than QOS. Its easier to build bulk than to cut as we get older. Also expect less running and jumping this time out but it's only guessing.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

I would venture to say at 50, he will have trained and lost some weight to be able to do a reasonable amount of his own stunts and avoid injury while looking looking fit and dangerous in well tailored clothes. I would be surprised if he goes shirtless unless he did some miracle training in the past couple of months...plus it's really not necessary at this point in his tenure as Bond. A friend of mine who is a professional trainer and a Bond fan made a similar point to zaphod99 in that Craig probably was bulked up a bit with muscle mass while appearing a bit more round in the face and was probably focusing his training the last two months prior to filming by dieting down and cutting body fat with high rep, high intensity work outs. Also, with Craig's fair skin, craggy looks, and very blond hair, make up, lighting and the right hair cut will make a huge difference versus what we see through the paparazzi's lens when he's walking about. I've seen spy photos of Craig from when he was still in his late 30's and he's looked like crap.

Well, we'll know in 11 days time when he presents an Oscar. Will he walk out to the Bond theme?

I'm sure Craig has no say in the matter, but if this happens I expect him to be cringing the entire time.

These are the moments responsible for the Bonds growing tired of the role.
He‘s appearing somewhere with no relation to the franchise, it‘s just done for fun‘s sake and he‘s not getting acknowledged as an actor but mere as the guy playing James Bond.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Many years ago, David Niven was to walk out to the "Pink Panther" theme but politely asked that it be changed to "Around The World" instead, and his request was granted.

First of all, none of us are in Craig’s head so we can’t possibly know how he would feel about walking out to the Bond theme. But it’s a bit much to imply that being identified as James Bond is some burden that he has to endure. He chose to come back for Bond 25 when all signs, including the end of the last film, pointed to him walking away.

All I‘m saying is that it‘s not really necessary to do that. But before we go any further, let‘s just wait and see how it turns out to go down.  ajb007/martini

This is a video made by Haphazzardstuff titled "Another year without James Bond. There are no earth shattering new ideas, but it's an intersting view at what's going on with Bond. (one question: he says Fukunaga has mentioned getting Waltz back. Has he?)

When asked specifically about Christoph Waltz and Ben Whishaw, Fukunaga said “Those are two extraordinary actors, so if there is space for them in the story, I would absolutely want them there.”

What that means, who can guess.

Thanks. I would like to say that clears it up, but we agree it doesn't.

If Ben Whishaw isn't included I would be very disappointed.

We know nothing about the plot yet, right? Has someone an idea of what some could be about? Is it gonna be personal this time to? What is your guys guess? I would love to have one with craig who is a standalone one, this might be the last chance ajb007/biggrin

With Seydoux back, chances are high that there will be a personal factor again.
My hope is that they keep it at a minimum and not have him go rogue once more. After all, he‘s a government agent and not a mercenary.

Ahem, I refer you to my excellent post;

Someone wrote:

It's oft been said that there are a lot of similarities between the DC Bond films, going rogue being the central evidence.

Soooo, below are my summaries of the DC films and on the basis that his films are very similar, you'll see my Bond25 story speculation is a mix of the common elements.

Casino, Bond kills the only lead for a terrorist network and gets sent on holiday. He goes rogue and uncovers bombing plot. To face off against Le Chiffre, Bond is helped by Mathis and Vesper. Bond is also helped by Leiter, he lives. Vesper betrays him and while Bond tries to save her, she dies as the villain's lair is destroyed. Mathis appears to betray him and is captured.

Quantum, Bond kills the only lead in Haiti for a mystery organisation and goes rogue to Bolivia. He involves a young MI-6 agent, Fields, who helps him find Greene and she is murdered. M is not happy about the loss of her agent. Mathis helps him and he is also killed. Leiter helps Bond find villain's lair, which he destroys. Camille helps Bond, but she lives.

Skyfall, Bond goes rogue after being shot and returns to MI-6 after it's attacked and sent on a mission to find Silva. Severin helps him and is then murdered. Moneypenny helps him in Macao, and lives. Bond returns to London to try to save M, they escape to Scotland. Bond's family's gamekeeper, Kincade, helps Bond, but M still dies and Bond's lair is destroyed. Kincade lives.

Spectre, Bond is supposed to be on holiday, kills a man to find a mystery organisation, then goes rogue with the help of Q. Bond is helped by Mrs Sciarra and she lives. Mr White helps Bond, who kills himself. Bond finds Madeleine and then the mystery organisation, destroys the lair, and escapes with Madeleine to return to London to try to save MI-6. Like Camille, Madeleine lives.

So, my guess at Bond25 is a mashup of the above...

Bond is already 'rogue/on holiday' with Madeleine, a Spectre assassin tries to kill him and Madeleine. Bond kills the assassin, his only lead to find Spectre. He goes to Leiter for help to find Spectre's lair, but Leiter is captured by Spectre. Bond encounters the young MI-6 agent along the way, as she is on a parallel mission to stop some devious Spectre plot, she dies helping Bond. M is not happy with Bond about the loss of his agent. Bond is helped by Q and Moneypenny to finish the young MI-6 agent's mission and to save Leiter. Spectre captures Madeleine to blackmail Bond and the last act is Bond trying to stop Spectre and save his friend and wife, a la Dark Knight, and Madeleine dies. The Spectre lair is destroyed, Leiter lives.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

For Spectre, on 22 November 2014, the Daily Mail reported that the press conference would occur in the first week of December, which it did, 3 December, 11 days later, which was also the first day of filming.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl … y-him.html

11 days before 4 March 2019, the official filming start date for Bond25 so far, is the 21 February, so we could know in a week's time when the press conference is.

We may also get confirmation of a start of filming move to 6 April as the invites for a 4 March press conference would not be sent out and journalists, I imagine, will ask why.

I couldn't find any stories that revealed early the date for Skyfall's 3 November 2011 press conference or Quantum's 24 January 2008 photocall.

BTW Spectre's press conference was 3 December 2014 and Waltz was rumoured on 14 November, 19 days before, which would be 13 February for a 4 March Bond25 press conference. Who is Bond25's villain?

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

Just a small piece of news:

-   the tests that we saw on February 11th correspond to scenes related to “vehicles”, since Yves Girard is specialized in this type of action and it seems that he will be the coordinator of vehicle specialists in the film (not necessarily “cars”). Furthermore, these essays would be variations on a scene already prepared, in case in the filming set arise different alternatives and thus be able to offer them to the director and the director of the second unit.

-   In addition, the tests of the specialists would have begun at the beginning of January, which confirms that the filming start date is still on March 4th.

-   The secrecy in the EON and the 007 Stage is impressive. Only those who work on the film with their corresponding identification enter the studio, there are security arcs, antenna inhibitors … It looks like Fort Knox! (Well, this we already knew…).

-   The most likely dates for the press conference to present the film at the 007 Stage, as happened with SPECTRE, would be: February 28th or March 8th. (I know, this is not much, but…)

Regarding the release date change news on the Factual thread, how significant is the change, I can't recall the previous date? What affect will this have on other things?? Hopefully filming isn't going to be pushed back.
