Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

A box office data analytics firm, Box Office Pro, is projecting NTTD could make up to $100m in its opening US weekend, beating Skyfall's $88m. Screen Rant has written about the projection here.
https://screenrant.com/no-time-die-box- … g-weekend/

And Cinema Blend has written the same story basically but not linked to Box Office Pro.
https://www.cinemablend.com/news/249032 … cast-is-in

Dark Horizons has also run the Box Office Pro NTTD story and helpfully added stats on the US domestic opening weekends of DC's other Bond films. Not adjusted for inflation though.
https://www.darkhorizons.com/no-time-to … ox-office/

FYI according to the US Federal Reserve inflation calculator, Casino's US opening weekend would be $52.2 million in 2020 dollars.

Re: Craig is back: Discuss Bond 25 here

That's a very cool shot. I wonder if the sequences shot with IMAX cameras will be in the expanded IMAX aspect ratio in IMAX theaters?
The other question is, since NTTD was partially shot with IMAX 70mm film cameras and the rest in 35mm Panavison if there will be any 70mm film showings?

Of course!!! They wouldn't shoot in IMAX if they weren't going to expand the aspect ratio during those sequences. And if it's anything like Nolan, a bunch of establishing shots as well.

But Tenet in July will be an IMAX feast for anyone who wants more IMAX after this one.

Yes. Consssssiderably.

It would seem likely, but some films which were partially short with IMAX cameras have not used the expanded aspect ratio like Return of the Jedi. I would just like to know so I can choose whether to see it in IMAX or Dolby Cinema. It's interesting, while Skyfall was shot digitally but not with IMAX cameras was formatted during production for both the 2.39 to 1 scope ratio and the 1.90 to 1 Digital IMAX ratio. The DP, Roger Deakins preferred the 2.39 to 1 version. Deakins also preferred the 2.39 to 1 version of 1917 over 1.90 to 1 but 1917 wasn't shot utilizing any IMAX cameras either.

Latest rumors on Twitter and reddit put PTS at 20 mins (prologue + Matera) and full movie at 165 minutes. Make of it what you will.

Excellent poster: very striking. Looks to be the main theatrical one too.

FYI Everyone a version of this poster (with a different date) can be found here https://twitter.com/UIPSA/status/1230889665152110593

So much for the theories that the Standee/character poster or the Tux against the Cuban blue wall would be the official theatrical one sheet. And Bond is, James Bond 007.

I wasn't aware of anyone suggesting that: it was always the teaser poster.

James Bond 007 is EON's trademark. They need to use it no matter if Bond is 007 in the story.
