Do it once and it'll never happen again. After the first time it happens you learn very quickly to step very cautiously every time after That's all I'll say.

I never did make it to the Taqueria, ended up having a cup of coffee for dinner and a six pack of beer for dessert. I really need to start eating (and drinking) better.

I have to say I'm amazed this thread has been allowed to continue as long as it has, let alone that is has managed!

Looking back, I don't know why it didn't get shut down when it was titled "Jedi Master and General Ourumov Chat" as you'd expect mods to see that and think "Why can't they just use PMs or an IM service like MSN?!

In a way I feel kinda proud to be the creator of the thread, even if I have been conspicuously absent for a long time!

I'm saddened I have to work today. My San Francisco 49ers are in the NFC Championship Game and I have to work. All day. No TV around, No Radio either. It'll be just like last week when we beat the New Orleans Saints. I hope the 49ers do make it the Super Bowl. Win or Lose though, it'll be a great game (for those who get to watch it) and I'm happy my 49ers have made it this far.

we've got some new guys this year, and some players who've been around the league, but have just come to us. I'm eager to see what my beloved Colorado Rockies can do this year! :x

A rivalry. The Rockies are in the NL West, just like my Giants!!! It's going to be a fun summer, just as soon as the Giants can sign Lincecum. Oh yeah, Buster Posey will be back this year, Woooo!!!!

So I've actually managed to persuade my wife to let me take a holiday to London (we live in Melbourne, Australia) without her and the kids. I'm thinking about doing this in 1 years time as I need to raise some $ to pay for it all, and was wondering if anyone can help with suggesting any James Bond locations (filming or literary) in London?

I'm feeling über pleased with myself today.... needed to change a few lights on my car.

So, I changed the front headlight.... AND the rear back brake light.... may not seem like a big deal, but to me, well I feel quite proud that I didn't need someone to 'do it for me' (plus they would charge £14 for the privilege )

Now I feel like I should do something girlie to offset my new found skill.....

I was really daunted when my reverse light went on my M5. It was really hard to get to, the car is very specialist and I'm not good at things like that. BMW would charge £5.95 + vat for the part (bulb) and .75 hour rate £75 + vat. So that's over £100. I started to take the inside panelling out, got a bulb from Halfords for .99p and got it fitted myself. It was really easy and I cannot believe I almost took it in and saved £100!

.99p - blimey, I'm shopping at the wrong branch of Halfords.... mine cost me £9.99 (for the headlight) and that was the Halfords brand too ) (maybe the reverse light will be cheaper? :v )

However, I think to quote you £75 for labour is crazy... okay, so it took me a good 20 mins to read the instructions, and then apply that to the impossibly placed front light... but I'm a novice... next time it will take 5 mins max - what rip off merchants, and it feels good knowing you've done it yourself...so what did you spend the £100 on then.... )
