As this a bit random, thought this was the place to post it ...

An interview Edgar Wright did and he's talking about Timothy Dalton and his dislike of signing autographs ... Quite amusing

For just a second, this morning I had a shock. Only just up to take the
Dog for a walk, slipped on the earphones only to hear ........
" so Britain has declared war on ..... "
Now still being sleepy, for a second I thought " Bloody hell, what happened
Last night ? " only to quickly realise it was a report on WW1. :)

    Yes. Very Conneryesque.

Tim Dalton has never been great with the whole autograph thing. I get the impression you do ask at your peril !!

I think it quite interesting that two Bonds similar in style, Craig and Dalton, are both pretty similar about the whole showbiz thing, a little unpredictable and can be prickly and then you get Brosnan and Moore who are similar in the opposite direction!

I remember hearing an interview with David Suchet ( Poirot ). Who said
As a child he waited outside a stage door for ages to meet a favourite
Actor of his ( he mentioned no names ) When said actor arrived he refused
To Sign anything and brushed past.
He said he felt so disheartened and let down, that he always carries some blank
Cards and a pen. So if someone wants an autograph but doesn't have a pen, they
    Won't leave disappointed. :)) sounds a lovely man. -{ {[]

Thats really how it should be.

I do understand though how tiresome it can be though especially if you're out with family or working etc

I can understand it can be a real pain in the ....... but it is showbusiness
and in a way it's part of the job. :D I know a guy who met Robert De Niro
Waiting in a restaurant, had a brief chat then Dr Niro left . He said he felt
He shouldn't ask for an autograph as it would have spoiled the moment
Of two guys chit chatting killing a bit if time.
Although without the autograph he has no proof. :))
