My new rant: There's a guy at the MI6 site that's makin' me nuts. He keeps going on about how QOS is full of Left-wing agenda crap, and no amount of discussion will work with him. I finally posted this to shut him up:
The thing I didn't like about QOS was the idea that Quantum was everywhere, posing a worldwide threat, a force that needed to be reckoned with... and that covert agencies were the only line of defence. So, once again, government CONTROL is what's needed to keep us safe from the unknown dark & sinister forces that are ready to pounce. Again, we must be willing to trade transparency & liberty for security. And we even get to enjoy the loss of freedom because it's BOND. This movie is simply a sugar coated Right-wing subliminal pill for us to swallow under the guise of a slam at evil corporations. Yeah, toss us a few indiscriminate bread crumbs about corruption, but I see what this film is all about. Typical western far right fascist propaganda. Oh please noble & trustworthy government spies, save us!

You are right. There are a couple of commnets that might be called left-wing ("It's the price of war ..."), but the overall message is right-wing. Or is it? I find that power-hungry regimes love surveilance and inteligence agencies regardless if they are left- or right- wing.
When you whittle it all down, there's very little difference between extreme far left and extreme far right in so many areas. It's funny how they claim to be diametrically opposed to one another yet have more in common with each other than they do with someone in the centre!

I agree completely. There are differences in the economic system and left-wing extremists are usually not racists, but basically the regimes function the same way. I find it interesting that Mussolini, Hitler and our own Vidkun Quisling all considered communism before they came to power. It's also very typical of communists to see more moderate socialists and not right-wingers as the main enemy. That's what happened before Hitler came to Power.

Ive just spent all morning driving around/on the phone trying to buy a tyre for the brats Audi S line .Every one has told me ,that they can get it ,its in the warehouse , well its no use to me in the bloody warehouse X-(

After painting the whole house ( the hallway and stairs twice, as my wife
Changed her mind on the colour, and we live in a bloody three story house !).
So everything looks wonderful -{ until last night, burst radiator and leaking
Pipe behind some panels, now mean after the plumber leaves............ I'll have to
Go and repaint the bloody thing all over again ! X-(
and I really hate manual labour. I was born to be a kept man.

I have sympathy Thunderpussy - painting is a tedious job!!!
My house is fairly new (5 years) and needs repainting inside and out however I'm putting my foot down until the kids grow up and stop touching walls with their grubby hands ) One day I came home and the kid from next door was dragging a toy across my hallway wall whilst he walked the entire length of the bloody house!!
Only thing that me and the GF are allowed to change in our Flat is the Curtains and Duvet ) Both the Wardrobe and Bed look like they are stuck in the 80's and our Toilet and Bath are the only modern things in the Flat.

The shared Kitchen is filthy most of the Time. No matter how many times you clean up, some git makes a Mess again. We have to keep Cutlery and everything in our Room because the Kitchen Draws look like they have not been cleaned since the last Decade. I'm just grateful that we have our own Toilet and Bath
The 'Garden' is just a load of Concrete Slabs with the typical Weeds and a Shed that is filled with who knows what
