My apologies of this isnt the right place or appropriate. This watch is for sale for a reasonable price. Too reasonable in my opinion. I think the watch band isn't legit but is there anything else that you guys can spot wrong? Is it a fake? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The whole watch just looks off, I'm not sure what model it's supposed to be but you need look no further than that bezel pearl.

I love this model too, but personally i find this model with the SS bracelet on a bit too heavy.
For this reason, I wear it with a NATO band.
It's titanium so is very comfortable to wear, even in the 45mm I've got.
So titanium is the solution -{ -{ -{
The weight difference between that watch and my SS po is very obvious when wearing them. I also really like the darker metal of the titanium against the liquid metal blue.

Back in my Franken days I made this from genuine Omega parts. Electric blue SMP, with P.O. bezel and after market insert, plus PO bracelet with AT 898 end links. In effect made my own electric blue P.O. then they went and released the blue P.O. Ti!
Your one looks wrong on many levels I would avoid.

You me both rotating between QOS 2500, PO LM LE, and PO8500’s in Black and Blue. Actually the latter have been my go to set for som months now.
You are right though you do go through phases it was SF AT and Speedy on NASA a few months back. That’s why I never sell any of them. Just put my vintage SM 300 on black NATO as my tool watch as it’s just back from service.

Havnt worn my vintage SM300 for about a year now, and I had an at phase last winter for a few months. But as usual I'm sure they will all get wrist time over the Christmas break.
It marks easier I find, but doesn't scratch I think titanium oxidises more readily than SS which gives it a darker look and this oxidation gets removed which looks like a scratch, but the marks disappear and fade relatively quickly. there are also different grade titaniums used omega used grade 5, I'm not sure what properties make up the grading system, but grade 2 was widely used in the past and that was softer than steel, the grade 5 titanium is harder. The Ti omegas really are quite impressive in my opinion.

+1 Mine pick up marks from desk diving but that’s purely on the oxidisation layer and the go as fast as they come. For a deeper scratch per say a light brush soon brings it back to original condition.

The watch itself (titanium case and deployant buckle) is light like a feather!
The buttery way how the clasp closes is incredible!
And this, gentlemen (lock-on crown) has been wanted by collectors for decades and worth alone the ticket!

A friend of mine was telling me this weekend how he is planning on selling his Rolex daytona bi metal, and buying a u boat flight deck.
On my part I advised him to keep the Rolex, and buy a second hand U-boat, their value seems to drop significantly, and I think the Rolex will always hold its value and probably increase. What do you think?

That is a gorgeous timepiece. I too am quite fond of Seikos. With Christmas ahead and my 40th birthday on December 28th I've got the SKX007 and SARX045 on the wishlist. On the fence with the SARG011, that may be a "just because" purchase I make on my own.

Imo a two-tone Daytona won't have the potential to increase significantly in value.
They are difficult to sell in the second-hand market - in contrary to the steel watches.
These U-Boats are far too huge and high-.profile for my taste, in general if I like the new watch better than the old - I sell.

Christ - Daytonas wear pretty small so he is going to have one hell of a size increase
Higgins, regarding not having the scratches on a watch removed during servicing; would you advise that for both the watch case as well as the bracelet? Or just the watch case?
