Well TWINE was blandly directed and badly edited, so a ground battle was brushed over. In GE's lair climax Bond set off an explosion that killed/maimed/scattered most of Alex's minions so that evened the odds for Bond in his one on one duel with 006, and you had the tag team in TND's climax that became draining after a while.
'Alright guard, begin the unnecessarily slow moving dipping mechanism...'
