I designed lots of the golden gun parts for my replica project.
I was thinking about making o run of 007 golden guns, numbered from one to seven, and keeping the number seven of course, these would have been printed from brass, then polished by me and some other finish, but just the blanks were more than 1200€ excluding VAT...
    So...
I saw there is a way to make a shapeways shop, I decided, once all issues will be solved, to offer my models available on direct purchase.
Why do I put this information here, because these will be available from gold plated brass, but also from fine detailed plastic (I excluded the cheapest plastic, the details are horrible) for fraction of the price.
I already added both cufflinks, and both bullets in my shapeways shop, available from two materials, gold plated brass and fine detail plastic.
Just type "golden gun" in shapeways search and you will get them.

More budget espadrilles, these from H&M.

While the US website is basically sold out, interested parties may have luck at their local stores. I managed to snag a pair for $8.

In work today, my manager ( who wears an Omega himself )
Thought I was wearing a Rolex. As I'd worn my Invicta diver
    With nato strap :D :))

They do look exactly like a Rolex! So I’m not surprised. Did you try to open his zip with the magnetic bezel though? :o

Great alternative to the SPECTRE Omega. £3 from
Amazon. Put a cheap nato on and it is good enough to display.

Awesome Bond44! I'm really glad people are getting their ties in a timely manner and are happy with the result! For anyone else that is interested in a tie, there are about 32 left. Aklasu is going live to the public on September 20th. Once those 32 are sold that will be it for this project.

Went our for dinner tonight so grabbed the chance to try out the new tie. Waiter asked me where he could get one - unfortunately not M&S, TM or CT not even T&A.

He was surprised when he had not heard of the brand :D

    Anyway here’s a shot

    Cheers :D

I was interested to see if this company did anything like the gf hacking jacket, I can't see one, but you never know and under £200 for a tweed suit is reasonable, I've no idea on quality. https://tweedmaker.clickfunnels.com/optimised-page

Not budget but it’s 100% accurate.

Been in tie mode lately. A company called the Knottery has a decent alternative for the TF Morocco tie for $35. It's brown, not rust, but the styling is pretty close.

    https://knottery.com/products/pointed-silk-knit-brown

    IMG_9987_2_1.png?v=1435263090

It's on preorder so you'll need to wait until mid-Oct to get it

    Cheers!

Came across these on Dappered.com. For those of you in the U.S., these could be a good budget alternative for DC's RM Williams Gilchrists. On sale at Kohls for $50 and they're real suede 3309377_Whiskey?wid=320&hei=320&op_sharpen=1&fmt=jpeg&qlt=85,1&op_sharpen=0&resMode=sharp2&op_usm=1,0.8,6,0&fmt=jpeg&qlt=85,1&op_sharpen=0&resMode=sharp2&op_usm=1,0.8,6,0&fmt=jpeg&qlt=85,1&op_sharpen=0&resMode=sharp2&op_usm=1,0.8,6,0&fmt=jpeg&qlt=85,1&op_sharpen=0&resMode=sharp2&op_usm=1,0.8,6,0

Found this top hat in a boot sale down in Cornwall last week ,nothing special ,it's not silk ,probably some fur of some kind ,but anyway ,Mrs AS went mad , " what do you want that for " I give the bloke a tenner for it ,( I don't think James Bond has a big impact down there) so took it back to the rented house ,give a good brush and it's not bad ,now where do I display it
By the way, did I tell you, I was "Mad"?
  • canoe2canoe2 Posts: 2,007MI6 Agent
always shaken: nice find! I'm still on the lookout for a suitable top hat in time for Halloween.

    Hi All!
First, the Orbis gren tie has now launched to the public (and seem to be moving fast!). Here is the IA post about the tie:

    http://www.iconicalternatives.com/2018/09/30/aklasu-limited-edition-orbis-grenadine-tie/

And the product page on Aklasu's website:

    https://aklasu.co/products/the-orbis-tie?variant=19291188396150

And Mango Outlet has an interesting alternative for the Matchless jacket on sale for $189.

    https://www.mangooutlet.com/us/men/jackets-biker-jackets/suede-biker-jacket_13063645.html?c=09&n=1&s=piel

It's an asymmetrical zip, but looks pretty cool when the model wears it open.

They also have an okay navy suede option for the JV jacket for $99

    https://www.mangooutlet.com/us/men/jackets-biker-jackets/zipped-suede-bomber-jacket_13075007.html?c=55&n=1&s=piel

Elasticized hem and cuffs, but not that noticeable.

Sizes in both jackets are really low. But I've found with Mango that sometimes if you wait a bit they restock.

    Cheers!

ZARA has a very close version of the JV Navy suede racer jacket in Spectre. Theirs is not as dark (but it is much darker then their website depiction), and is faux suede.

Just picked one up and really happy with the way it looks. Oh btw go true to size for this jacket. Usually I have to size up for ZARA but this one my usual size medium/40 fits like a dream.
