Just by curiosity did you all size up?

Yeah- I sized up. I bought the Solden in a Medium and although I've worn it a lot and am very happy with it - I probably would have gone for the large had I known the sizes came up a little small. Like Daniel said, the Altaussee jacket can easily be tailored/taken in if a little big but I'm pretty sure a large will be perfect for me.

My chest measures 40" and I usually buy medium.
But Dan's size chart shows that chest 39" corresponds to a medium. I think we should size up.
The Mantis' review will be interesting.
Would also love a comparison with the original Dior model !

I'm a 42" chest, 6'1" and 34" waist and I stuck with large, my usual size. I have faith that that decision won't come back and bite me.

Ditto re measurements and after chatting with Dan I went L too

I'm a 39" chest and I went for the Medium.

Foolishly went for Small in the Solden... think I was probably a Large in that rather than a Medium due to my height and arm length. Will re-assess that when the next run comes out, but with the Small, the arms and length were at least 2-3 inches too short for me despite it fitting well around the chest and shoulders.

    Looks fantastic though. Really looking forward to it. Great job, Dan. -{

    What are your measurements ?

From the measurements I may be inbetween sizes. So being paranoid I ordered a M and L to try on.

    Jacket looks fantastic.

I ordered one too! :D I am 6' 2" and 200ilbs and have the 'Next' version in large of this jacket and it fits perfectly. I measured the jacket and Dan's measurement march it almost perfectly so I think it will fit most that usually order large. Looking forward to it and can't wait for the Harrington, HINT, HINT! Dan will wake up to a nice surprise with these orders.

I am 6' with a 44 chest and a 34 waist and I went with the XL. It was a tough call, but I figured that it's a cold-weather jacket, and I will want to layer under it. At the very least I plan on wearing my N.Peal roll neck! And as Dan said, bringing in the waist should be easy enough for my tailor if need be.

(As an aside, I wouldn't describe the look of Craig's jacket in the movie as especially fitted. It fits him nicely, but it's one of the few pieces he wears in the later movies — the Menlo being another — that doesn't seem super slim.)

I went medium, which is what I wear in almost everything else.

    5' 11''. 185 lbs. 38" chest. 33/34 waist.

After talking it over with Daniel, he thought medium sounded just about right too.

    Can't wait!

I often get that with international charges.

Still trying to decide on the size. The large would be fitted, but is very like the dimensions of my Harrington and Haiti Y-3.

Update: I ordered the Large. Here's hoping for a cold winter in 6 months.

I'd say that medium might legitimately be sold out already...it's been a busy 24 hours!

I just ordered an XXL (6'4", 45 chest, 36 waist, 20.75" shoulders) so it looks like I'll have to get it tailored but well worth it!

Dan confirmed in an email that size Medium Sold out within a few hours...
He also mentioned that the jackets are easy to alter.
Despite receiving a lot of emails, he took the time to answer my questions!

I was surprised at that as well. The past few days have probably been some of the busiest he has had since he started Royale, yet he still finds the time to reply to people. Absolutely brilliant customer service!

Gents, for those ordering their jackets, why are you sizing up? These do not fit like the Solden jacket....I received a medium today and I believe it has a classic/generous cut. I will actually be getting a small as my final size....review vlog to come when small arrives...should be just a few days.

    Hello, a new member here.
Just ordered in a size Large. I have the problem of having a 10 inch drop in sizing (41 Inch chest and 31 inch waist). I think the Large will be the better fit through the shoulders and hopefully the waist can be tailored if needs be.
