Bond goes through a lot of meetings in Egypt... Houssain, Fekkesh, Anya and then Kalba... maybe overkill? but this Fekkesh death, followed later by Kalba's, cerrainly establishes Jaws's killer credentials... he's sinister first, before he becomes comic...

"Bond, James Bond" Kalba: ""What of it?" Droll and funny. Tom Mankiewicz worked uncredited on this script, no?

probably her best look in the entire film.
she's forced to wear another nice dress when held prisoner at the end, and then the evil HQ floods!

The music at the ruins is called "Hide And Seek" and sadly is not on the soundtrack album
  • BarbelBarbel ScotlandPosts: 36,333Chief of Staff
The so-called soundtrack album contains re-recordings, not the cues heard in the film itself. And many cues are missing

this scene is one of the bits that reminds me of Colonel Sun,
Bond and Ariadne Areolowhatsit also got chased round some classical ruins after meeting in a restaurant

Anya should have told Jaws to back away. She was obviously within kicking distance when stooping to pick up the microfilm...
