You're welcome. I used two of these O gauge figures for my crashed LD Vantage with reasonable results, they seemed to be a believable size next to the car. I think they are ex Preiser moulds, no doubt someone will correct me if they're not. Either way there seems be quite a lot to choose from on eBay with prices ranging from cheap to expensive!
Hi MovieCarFan - can you send me an "avatar" from TWINE that I can download to my MAC so I can use it for my 'Profile', or someone else!!
shran007 (aka Tim Fremuth)
Thanks so much!!!!!!!
There are copyright restrictions on what can be used as an avatar - (my own is a stock Mustang that happens to look like the Bullitt car) - but maybe this one would be ok?
Thanks MovieCarFan - our 'handle' Thunderpussy is going to try to custom trim a photo I sent him. It is from the actual location of a scene from "License to Kill" one of my 5 other Top pics for Bond movies (Dr. No, FRWL, Goldfinger, etc. I have just seen too often). Thunderball is still a favorite, though, but other than the album cover I don't think I have anything I can submit on that one. We'll see what Thunderpussy can do for me. Thanks so much again.

As MovieCarFan (for example) -{ , I am also a 'movie fan... 8-)
So there is a new collection :
if you know a other website where they talk about movie car , let us know.... )
See you for other james Bond car .
I was watching Encore Bond Collection LIVE last night and during Bond's approach to the Monsoon palace I wondered how in the world we neglected the alligator (some sites refer to it as a crocodile) that opened its "jaw" to permit Bond to go undetected to visit Octopussy!
It would be a gem of infinite (or maybe, finite) proportions, depending on your perspective of being either water algae or one of the elephant statues nearby!!
Live Long and Prosper (Sept. 15, 1967 - Feb. 27, 2015)
I never subscribed to the collection, but after seeing the stuff at Bond In Motion at NMM I bought some of the cars that were there. Here is the list of cars that I have:
Wow well done with recent additions to Code 3 collection and the new Code 4 collection. Lots of good stuff
Ok I have a Corgi Goldfinger Fiftieth anniversary mint in boxed in gold and one in silver currently advertised on ebay looking for £125 plus carriage for both. Send me a PM if you are interested
In keeping with recent posts, I thought these photos might be of interest. They are models that have been for sale on eBay that appear to have all been created by the same person, code3's (or code4s depending on individual opinions) based on movies and TV shows. I hope that he/she doesn't mind me sharing them with everyone here. For the Bond purists, check out the last two (although I think the first one counts too!)
Thinking about the Moore DB5 in 'Cannonball Run' (first car in my last post), I'd heard about Lazenby as Bond in a Man From U.N.C.L.E. movie but had never seen it. A quick search on YouTube found it and here it is for anybody else not familiar with it:
Never knew that aluminium body panels could be so rusty. )
Here's an interesting auction that ended yesterday - a loose JBCC GF DB5 and OHMSS DBS - guess how much the two went for? - £10? £20? £30? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/351404378779

No, £51!
Good grief! I suspect it will be a long time before the buyer sees that sort of money back on those two cars.....

Absolutely crazy, especially given that just about all the pre-Ixo JBCC models are now available in your local hobby shop, thanks to old stocks now being cleared out to the trade (but do not expect to find them going for £8 as was the case with the partwork, they seem to generally priced at the £13+ level).
Going back to the Corgi DB5 Goldfinger Anniversary model, I have now ordered myself a copy of the new CC04204S version through the Corgi Shop, it cost £14.99 after Corgi Club member discount. It appears to be the same as the one issued in January, but minus the "50th Anniversary" title on the card and those oval stickers on the outer box ... and of course the SKU printed on the box is now one digit different. I'll confirm the above when it arrives
P.S.
That was an interesting set of models you posted a month ago, MCF - I flipped through them on my mobile at the time, but I don't login to AJB as much as before so it's taken a while to say thanks for sharing {[]

It's my guess that the buyer wasn't too clued up on the JBCC and thought these two models were something unique - unlucky for the buyer but a huge bonus for the seller! If I come across a 'find' on eBay I'm not familiar with, I always type it into 'sold listings search' first to check out its true value before putting any bids on it.
Re Corgi's new DB5, I had an email from Corgi to say the model was available again but only in silver, they didn't say if the gold version would be re-supplied. But least it looks like the packaging hasn't been simplified and still has the automatic pop out mechanism which is one of the coolest features of this model.
I had preordered the new gold version 04204G from the Corgi website and had an email notification that it has arrived in their warehouse (that's great for them but I would be more interested to know that they have forwarded it to me ).
And just now I got the 04203G for £39.99. :007) The seller today listed 2x 2 for £39.99 BIN each, and I just got the last of the four. He has still another gold one available, with a starting bid of £34.99 or £49.99 BIN if anybody is interested.
I didn't want to buy a £19.99 item for a multiple price but £45 with shipping is a price I won't find any cheaper in the future. The 04204G with Corgi's hefty international postage costs me almost the same (£37). But I think the 50th anniversary 04203G will be the much more thought-after model.
Nice work SWJ! {[] It's good to see some more unusual (for Bond) but well-loved cars making an appearance such as the Dauphine, TR6 and Capri - and don't the Jeeps look good? The blown up Lotus is good fun too, I'm a bit surprised no-one's had a go at that before! Looking at all the re-used cases and dioramas you must be amassing quite a collection of unwanted JBCC models -
A: Is someone contemplating a CODE 3?
B: Do the machine guns still work?
C: Did the driver use use the ejector seat to prevent injury to his passenger?
