    Im writing an email now.

Does anybody have a still / image of DC wearing the jacket in Skyfall. I believe there is a very good image of the jackets lapels during the trailer when he is in the car with his new gun

another shot of DC in the Billy Reid peacoat from the full length trailer

    Cool

Did you provide the coat yourselves for Daniel Craig or was you surprised to learn it was used in the film?

Thanks for the question - we were aware of it being used in the film. In September of last year I was contacted by our PR agency to check availability on this particular coat and another (this one actually http://www.billyreid.com/product/quail-jacket-dark-oak.html) that Daniel Craig had purchased personally at our Nashville, TN location in 2008.

Long story short, we sold a total of 20 of this same peacoat directly to the production studio when the movie was still labeled as only "Bond 23". The "Skyfall" title had not yet been announced. They wanted to purchase the same number of this jacket http://www.billyreid.com/product/quail-jacket-dark-oak.html for use in the film but we could not get it produced in time, but subsequently made it for this season anyway.

Happy to answer any other questions.

Very cool tidbit. Possibly what they wanted to go with before choosing the barbour.

My thoughts exactly, Charlie. Looks very similar in style/color.

Graham, thanks so much for reaching out to this community, and especially with such encouraging news for all of us. Greatly appreciated! Will be watching here for developments.

    Kindest regards,
    Craig

    Wow, this is amazing stuff...

Graham please include me on the list for one of the screen accurate jackets.

I'm based in London, will that pose any issues?

Another, closer pic of Craig in London with his personal jacket....and actually, I purchased an XL and had to have it tailored DOWN by the Billy Reid go to tailor in NYC...they did a wonderful job, but would be keen on trying on a medium...at the time I was over the moon to get ANY size!!! Also, stopped in the NYC store where the staff could not do enough for me once I told them about the association with the Bond Lifestyle.

Emailed Graham to put my name down. Only too happy to add my support in getting this coat reproduced.

Now that this is out an in the open and has momentum,at least lets hope that DZs desire to show off the success of his own find will now allow those who enabled the sourcing to get their hands on one as well.

well done to Graham from billy reid,

    ive emailed too,

its refreshing that a company will do this kinda thing,

Billy Reid wasn't the only one. Shockingly Belstaff was incredibly accommodating in sourcing the Patterson jacket in black for a very limited run many months ago:

Everyone thought it was impossible since it was made specifically for Daniel Craig for the cover shoot in Vanity Fair and I don't know why but until I asked them they told everyone else it was only available in brown.

Thanks guys - I will know more either later today or on Tuesday (Monday is a holiday in The States).

And for everyone in The UK (and elsewhere) no need to worry on shipping. We ship to about 190 countries.

I might be late to the group on this but, the Bellstaff brand has changed hands recently. Italian company sold to US venture group.

I believe I have responded to every one's email about getting on the list for the (hopefully) reproduced coat. If I somehow missed an email and didn't get back to you feel free to hit me again.

Also - had a lot of questions about sizing - so getting a comprehensive sizing chart together that I will post here as soon as I have it. DC's personal is a large.

I see plus/minuses in both. New group seems very business oriented, one of the investors is a pretty well known apparel executive, the prior group seamed passionate but a little disorganized. The new group is already investing in real estate, I saw that on bond street they will be opening a flagship store this fall.

I want one of these bad, but it's out of my price range I think. I've been in the market for a new navy peacoat for over a year! The parka isn't cutting anymore in the winter.

Tried the Small and the Medium LVC Jacket.

Going to keep this one methinks.

And send this Medium back to Mr Porter, unless someone on here would like it? They are sold out at the moment.

They will credit me back with $890.

So, that plus shipping to you basically. Just trying to offer it here before it disapears back in the system.

    Cheers.

Just purchased this Tom Ford tie. Looks very similar to the one he is wearing in Skyfall. Let me know what you guys think.
