I think Batista is bigger than Oddjob. Definitely shorter than Jaws, but who cares he's built like a brick. That would be a very fun fight scene to watch between Bond and Batista.
Apparently Bautista is a bit taller than the 6'2" I had been led to believe....more like 6'4" or so. To put his size in some context, Harold Sakata was 5'10" (but 275 lbs). When I get a chance I need to go back and check out my "Goldfinger" Blu Ray to see if they made Sakata look as tall or taller than the 6'2" Connery. They won't have that problem with Bautista and Craig.

It would be interesting and rather exciting if they created Batista in the same way they did the other silent henchman. It adds so much more depth to the character. Maybe Batista will be able to be recycled like Jaws as well?

I fear having Batista as a Henchman. I fear the writers are trying to replicate what Bane was in The Dark Knight Rises. I just hope they don't have Hinx huffing laughing gas or something so he doesn't feel pain.

Bautista is so huge and imposing they probably don't need a gimmick like "huffing gas" or "feeling no pain". I'm guessing with Bautista's size, strength and athletic / martial arts abilities he will be a killing machine even with his bare hands.

DC is really convincing in his fight scenes. A hand to hand battle with Bautista has the potential to be a classic. The final battle between Bond and Hinx might even take place after Bond has dispatched the main villain.
I'm really hoping for a silent henchman, or at least one with a limited vocab! What I don't want is a Stamper style henchman (nor indeed for that matter a Jonathan Pryce villain either!)

Well traditionally the henchman is strong and silent- so no actual words for him to speak-just the odd grunt!
Then DC's Bond is a bit moody and grumpy-the strong silent type.
So maybe we'll have a silent movie !
