    Bit random ,could have posted this on other threads , but im sure Barbel will adjudicate :))
    I love all these old British films , Reach for the sky,Battle of the river plate,Genevieve ,you know the sort , im always saddened ,by the demise of our English language ,how did we arrive at this crap we speak now ,and were will it be in another 50 years time .
    The English spoken in all those old films are a joy to listen too. it does make me wonder ,will we return to various grunts and animal noises ,If any of you have been unlucky enough to have been on a bus full of school kids at 4pm , you will know what I mean

    A person of the teenage persuasion, recently asked me, where the
    Toilets were located in our local shopping centre. I ues the word " asked"
    advisedly, as it really was a series of grunts and gutteral noises. :))

    I always loved Telly Savalas in KH, as all he wanted to do was keep his men safe.
    He wasn't looking to win the war or volunteer for any dangerous missions. He just
