    I hated him, for that. In fact when I left they had arranged a workers v management
    Football match, in which I was NOT allowed to play, as it would have been like
    The mean Machine, with me expressing my dislike of management ! :))

    You can't actually run anything on dilithium crystals. The warp core uses matter (in the form if a super cooled deuterium slush) and anti matter (the same material but anti er stuff). The two forms of matter are put together in the warp core, which is basically a big pipe with electromagnetic fields in it to stop the anti matter touching the sides of the core and reacting with it.

    The part dilithium crystals play is that they act as a stable material for the matter/anti matter reaction to take place in, kinda like the water in a car battery.

    Over time the crystals wear out and need replacing, as does the deuterium tanks. I think the tanks can be replenished by using Buzzard ramscoops but that's for another time.

    So in essence, you can't run anything on dilithium crystals.

    And also there's the fact it's just made up geeky Sci-fi mumbo jumbo.

    In a nutshell it's been very costly and a complete PITA, but I got to the crossroads of either selling it on and cutting my losses or keep going and get it running right.

    It's one of those conundrums where if you do sell it on someone else is going to benefit from all you've paid into it, plus the replacement you but could be as bad or worse.

    Because it's so nice to drive and comfy, and I love the looks of it, I decided to keep going.

    I almost put my dual sig artist proof golden gun up for sale to fund the jag. Then I slapped myself.

    Indeed but the 4.7mm Zamak pea shooter won in the end.

    I'd say to anyone who's thinking of getting a jag, go for it, but you REALLY need to do your homework first. If you need help gimme a shout, I've found my way around mine fairly quickly, sadly.
