Well, I do use the chainsaw more often than I eat smalahove.....
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
I thought you might have to use a chainsaw to
Eat it. :D In Iceland there's a type of shark which
Is poisonous. Unless you hang up its meat for a
Couple of months ........... sounds mouth watering :))

I'm happy to say I have no personal experience with Hakarl, but my impression is that strong alcohol is the "side dish" needed to enjoy the taste. I hear the brand "Svartadaudir" (Black Death) goes well with Hakarl.
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
Yes, I've heard of " Black Death " ...... very strong alcohol
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."

The name was actually chosen to make the brand less appealing to customers :))
Like here in Norway, Iceland has alcohol monopoly shops run by the state. When customers demanded very strong alcohol the monopoly started the Svartadaudir brand as a nod to market forces, but chose an unappealing name to lover sales. It didn't work....

I think that's quite similar to my wife's homemade wine!
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
The used to sell Death cigarettes, ( possibly still do ) in a black packet with a skull on the front cover . Also
Apparently ( a bit of subliminal advertising ) in magazine ads for alcohol, they place a skull and crossbones
    In the image, hidden somewhere.

:)) and I bet it won't be Moneypenny giving
    Me the traditional shave.
Have you had one before? A traditional shave not a moneypenny.
I used to have one regularly at a place in sloane square, years ago, these days I only shave with a straight razor or an old fashioned safety razor.
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Good lord no!! Straight razors are safer the sharper they are, and of course because of all the Phil cool type faces you have to pull it keeps the face nice and toned.

Only problem with the 70's adult art look for men is that surely as your hair turns grey you must start resembling a sausage stuck in some mash potatoes

:)) I remember Billy Connolly saying about getting
Old. That once in the shower he noticed his " old fella
Has so much grey hair it resembled Stewart Granger.

    In this barbers you also get a free shot or a beer. -{

You may need a shot of something to steady the nerves before letting a stranger near your face with cut throat razor.

Gave myself a little extra Christmas present, via an offer from Google movies.
A HD download of " Our Man Flint " ( for something like £3 ) the bonus for me
Being my dvd version is censored, the scene where Flint uses a light fitting as
    A defibrillator is missing, ........ But thankfully it's on the download. -{

How is the temperature..... outside your house, not in the glass.
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
7 degrees but feels more like 3 with the wind, as we had a big storm last night. With trees falling across roads etc .

    I assume that's Celsius....
Here it's about - 4. A nice temperature since there is no wind and I'm inside.

    Hi. The usual, please.

I have a question: the toilet seat broke under me earlier today. Could this be a sign that I should lose some weight? ?:)

Ok, I'll have a Coke Vanilla Zero.
Do you think it will keep toilet seats safe in the future?
