This belt would look great with the brown suit at Fjackets

    This sounds like an advert.

They are selling knock-offs but use photos of the genuine items. They are not honest in the manner they are selling their clothes. I asked them last week to remove a graphic of mine they stole that's on their site and it's still there. The majority of the images they use are stolen, and they have very few photos of their own clothes on their site, as far as their SPECTRE clothes go. I can't speak for the non-Bond clothes. I can understand why they would not want to show photos their own products: https://www.fjackets.com/buy/Spectre-James-Bond-24-Suit.html. And I wonder if any reviews are real. Most of them are clearly faked, since they're the same for every product.

This is truly a great find. But no delivery to Germany. They sell Aldo through a third-party website which doesn't have the Meggiano. :(
Think I'll have to stick with my Clarks desert boots for now.

Just ordered a pair to Denmark by using a UK shipping address through forward2me.com - have no experiences with them yet but they'll ship to Germany :-)

great tip, i just did the same ,,, let's see if they arrive ... i love to compare the boots to my Kenton (Boulder colour) ... the Aldo ones look great and I wonder how they compare.

My Aldo boots just arrived, they look great and the forward2.me service worked great ,,, very easy ... and considering I ordered the shoes on Saturday and I already have them ... great. Shipping was 29 GBP (to Warsaw), shoes were 75 GBP ... tried them on already ,,, also same size as JCrew Kentons, they fit more snug and you can fell the difference in quality ,,, still I am happy. now I have to change the shoe laces ... :)

I was lucky enough to find JCrew Kentons in Sahara at my local JCrew store. Got them for $49 USD total.

They are a scam in the sense that they sent me a product review written by themselves meant to look like a customer...stay far away.

They think they can scam you and me. What nerve! What deceit!

They took photos from here: http://www.harrods.com/product/oconnor-small-check-suit/tom-ford/000000000004875956
and placed them on their site with their own watermark over them: https://www.fjackets.com/buy/James-Bond-Spectre-Dark-Grey-Check-Suit.html

They're trying to convince people that this is a photo of their suit. Any site that uses actual photos of Tom Ford suits to sell knock-offs is not a site I have any respect or trust for. A still from the film alongside photos of their own product is okay, but what fjackets is doing is deceitful.

The pictures of the JV race jacket and Mulberry gloves are stolen as well. Site should be taken down.

ETA on my Aldo boots is tommorow. Took longer for the boots to get from Aldo to the forward2me address than from forward2me to my address in Denmark. Very easy process.

Wow. That should deter anyone from ordering from them!

I've picked up a pair of the Aldo's (J Crew look-a-likes) as I do like the style and I'm off to South Africa early next year for a holiday and wanted something that would be comfortable to walk in that are smart enough to wander around a few wine farms -{ -{ . In terms of quality, they're not too bad for the price - £75. Although, having looked at the Kentons in the the Regent Street store, the Crew's are definitely a step up in quality. Fit wise, i'm a UK 10 and the Aldo's fit as expected. All I need now is a decent set of chinos. I think i'll skip the TF polo shirts at that price (not sure you would ever see someone on a civil service salary wearing one of those!) and mix and match Casino Royale (Sunspel) and Spectre (Aldo).

I managed to bag a pair of the Kentons in sahara last week from Rgts Street, they only had a UK 10.5 left so was a little worried they would be too big as I'm usually a 10 but they arrived yesterday and fit fine so ended up with a right result.

They are a pretty nice pair of boots particularly at the sale price of £129, so the ALDO version is being returned.

Just to add, givevthem a buzz and chat measurements thru with them. Dead helpful. Made mine in 3 weeks at no extra cost :)

I was a little lazy in the end, even though the store is about 10 minutes away from work. After a quick chat on the phone I have the following arriving tomorrow:

Turtle Neck Sweater NPG-300 - Lapis Blue
Turtle Neck Sweater NPG-299B - Fumo Grey

    Both in a Large.

I hate all this fraudulent /fake carry on! And such is the peril of the Internet! I have no problem businesses doing reproductions or even direct replications as long as they are marketed that way no copyrights are infringed and logos and names are not copied. After all a copy of the SF turkey suit is what I had a t as ilor make for me. (correctly fitted of course unlike the original)
It was either that.....or the priesthood

Ebay full of TF / Matchless / JV replicas using the stock image of the jackets

God knows what the item looks like (thats if not a total scam)

They have altered the description with replica but at first it did not even state it was replica

Most of these fake sites can be identified by the poor grammar or weird language in the customer feedback comments. It's probably only a matter of time before they start cutting-and-pasting genuine comments from other websites the same way they pinch photographs, but for now at least it's usually the first sign of trouble...like FJ's "Good, and the best part is when the coat is matching the trouser, which not in color wise but fitting" or "I will combine this suit with same gadgets (Fake) of James Bond especially the shoes."
  • brokepennybrokepenny Posts: 9MI6 Agent
I agree. The reviews on the fjackets site are hilarious! The fact that they are all in English but, are clearly written by someone who has English as a second language is quite comical. Believable if it were just one or two, but all of them are poor.
