NICE! This will be the first Halloween in a long time where a JB costume fits the holiday.

Apart from this one : :D

Think the hat has been ID'd as Stetson before (?). Jeans appear to be Scotch and Soda by the logo on the coin pocket. My only apprehension is at this poor angle the cuff looks like it may be selvedge denim, which S&S make from time to time, just very infrequently. No clue on the sweater.

Forgot to ask about the sunglasses. TF I presume?

Grainy photos, but the pic with them on looks to show the usual Persol arrow next to the left lens. Could be a reflection or nothing at all.

To the people saying not S&S jeans, I'm also skeptical. But given his affinity for the brand, these could be several years old. The only thing pointing me to that is I have a pair of their Duke fit from several years ago with a similar insignia on the coin pocket (a convoluted "AB" for Amsterdam Blauw). They have a few other insignias too.

Grey T-shirt appears to be by Orlebar brown. The small tag at the waist of t-shirt matches up - http://www.orlebarbrown.com/men/t-shirts/ob-t/mid-grey-melange.

I'm not even sure if they are the same color, but the illusion of color change is nothing new. Also, wouldn't be the first time DC got dust on his boots. Not sure if I'm just seeing things, but the lace pattern looks very similar on both boots. Zara has some similar options, but nothing exact. C&J, Clarks, and Church's don't seem to have anything like these in their current collection. This is my favorite outfit of the movie so far, so I have been searching the net for these. Possibly unavailable yet.

See Officine Creative Noorda desert boot from SS15 range: promotional photo not great, but colour still looks too light and not sure about stitching over heal, but closer to correct shape. Cannot find it still for sale, or better photos. Mr Porter has dark brown new season Officine Creative boot (Harvard) which is not the same as 6 eyelets, but shaping is heading in the right direction https://www.mrporter.com/en-gb/mens/officine_creative/harvard-suede-desert-boots/596205

I think we have a winner. Closest I've seen yet to what DC is actually wearing. Just a different colour.

After hunting down, jeans still look to be Scotch and Soda Lot 22 "Raw Denim". The insignia on the coin pocket is the Lot 22 anchor logo. Here's an album to another similar pair that are from around the 2013 season.

I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree on this one. Those are some nice pants you've got there, but the details still don't quite match to my eyes. The coin pockets are distinctly different.

I just picked up what I am hoping will be a somewhat similar budget alternative to the tom ford morocco polo: the color is a bit off in the picture but it is midnight blue knit polo by michael kors.

    image1.jpg

Also came across this zegna jacket online, it appears the down front sweater jacket will be big this fall.

Here's hoping that this means there will be "budget" options below 700$ as well 8-)

Does the polo have a banded bottom?
  • crt007crt007 Posts: 86MI6 Agent
No banded bottom. Its knit but a lighter linen cotton blend. has a nice feel to it though.

The banded bottom really makes the TF piece...I did find a H&M navy banded bottom polo which hits the mark pretty well...will post it this week...$26.99! Super comfortable...

I own the super.natural jacket, which I like. But the Zegna sweater looks like it fits more like the TF blouson (although with a nylon collar). It wouldn't surprised me to see something closer to the SPECTRE screen version appear on the shelves even before the reproductions people start turning out alternatives.

Is it the H&M polo with textured navy stripes? I think I came across that while I was searching around center city philadelphia. very cool detailing on the H&M polo. my hold up was that it had buttons and wasn't the skipper collar style. but at $26 its hard to beat.

Do you think the Tom Ford polo will have any textured detail or will it be plain navy knit?

Alden Suede Chukka. They are very comfortable because they are unlined. It's almost like wearing a slipper.

Just a heads up... If anyone is thinking about the Ghost dress for their other half. Miss Seydoux wears "dusty green" and not the "Silver Lake" as first thought.

Just had a long conversation re measurements as Mrs R is 6 weeks away from giving birth... And its confirmed as the green !
