Really enjoyed the Bond Apartment Article. I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I am currently in the process of moving so will definitely be returning to this article for when it comes to decking out the new man cave.

Thanks again for the kind words, gentlemen!

armenianmovieman: that one looks great! When I do another post on this topic, I will definitely include it with credit to you!

kadd: Great find! That's a ringer

explore007: Got a post on Danners coming up for winter boots. Will make sure you get the credit for the find.

Alright, so my contact that helped me with one of my articles has come across a stack of Tom Ford ties. I believe some, if not all, are brand new. As far as I can tell, none of these are SA, but a couple come close. At the very least, they're very nice ties. I asked him if I could share them here before he puts them up on Ebay, and he gave the thumbs up. And he offered a special price of $100 per tie! Here are the pics and PLEASE read my notes below! The only one that is not available now is the solid navy one on the right in the 3rd and 4th pics.

    Okay, the notes:

First, I am NOT the one selling these and I am NOT taking any kind of cut or commission or getting a free tie for sharing them here or for any he sells. I just know Matthew is a great guy and you're all great guys and I like doing favors. So if I can help some of you get a TF tie in your closets at a good price, I'm a happy person.

Second, I am not clear on forum rules about stuff like this (although I have seen others sell items on behalf of 3rd parties). So please PM me if you are interested and I will put you in direct contact with him. From that point on, all transactions are between the two of you.

Third, Matthew is like an Ebay rock star: 100% positive rating after something like 24,000 transactions over 16 years. So these are absolutely genuine.

And fourth, there is a time limit before he puts them up on Ebay. So, if you do want one, please let me know by the end of this week.

    All the best!

:)) I'll tell ya Chris. Even I was hesitant to wear these, and I'll wear just about anything Bond related. But the ladies love them. But, it might be because they are in right now, as I've seen them in quite a few movies and modeling picturs recently.

    I maybe would in a hot climate but powder blue trousers in autumnal north Yorkshire, on a 6'4" man? I'm not so sure, but you nail the look on that beach in the sun -{

I'll have you know I'm naturally olive skinned and after a couple days in the sun in Europe English is the last language any locals speak to me. In fact due to my impeccable attire ( with some thanks to you and James bond) I'm mostly mistaken for Italian or French, when I hit the beach I wear nothing......
.but orlebar browns, sunscreen and a really cute boy :D

Oh yes, I buy most his clothes so he does have a bond influence including a black shawl collar cardigan and some chinos which are pretty damn sa colour to the bc ones! Sky blue swim shorts are simply a must :)

Also, today is the last day for those Tom Ford ties if anyone wants one. They go up on Ebay tomorrow.

I'm doing a bunch of post updates for next week. But I wanted to share this one ASAP. How's this for an affordable option for the Barbour?

Anyone found a good Overcoat that could function as a CR "breaking into M's" and also as kind of a Bourne Identity/Supremacy Overcoat. To me it's a staple of the spy wardrobe. Would love to see Iconic Alternatives tackle this if the interest is there.

Well i asked for non blue jackets and you come up with this, just as I've been renewing my Skyfall lodge outfit too! So I've pulled the trigger on this jacket this morning. I have a 43" chest so I've gone for a large 41-43" chest for a more fitted look. Was meant to be having a cheap weekend too 8-)

I have another jacket from them*. I'm a 40 suit jacket and I went with a medium in the Vedoneire. Fits great. Only place it's a little snug for layering is in the sleeves. They're a raglan style on my jacket, and cut narrow. But I have been very happy with quality for the price.

I don't want to say the sizing on this new one is the same as mine. But I think if you're at the top of the size range you should get a nice slim, but still comfortable, fit.

Looking forward to hearing your opinions on it!

*This is the one I got: http://www.vedoneire.com/mens-wax-jacket-3050-black/

Anyone able to help a brother across the pond out and get a size 34 H&M BC alternative blazer bought in the U.K. And shipped to Florida in the USA? I'll pay all shipping and fees via PayPal or whatever method of your preference. Please PM if can help. The jacket link is here:

    http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0396204001.html

Of course I wouldn't be a good IA contributor if I didn't recommend going through the IA link to purchase :D
