    Just going back to Ale ...

    When I started work, occasionally the lads would go into town to some weird and wonderful pubs drinking real Ale ... On one occasion I went with them and part of the initiation was drinking a particular ale in one go .... That ale was Thomas Hardy's Ale and I still have the little red label thing nearly 25+ years later ... for the record I thought it was disgusting :))
