    I even remember watching the TV show ( used to be Sunday nights ) :D
    Loved the recent movies too ( although I didn't like Tim Burton's version ).

    I can remember the Sunday night ones, also liked the recent film and the new one is out today I think.
    Tim Burtons one was not bad, did like Helena Bonham Carter as a monkey ;%

    Just watched the original " Planet of the Apes " still a great movie. -{

    Wow. . .I just came back from watching Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I enjoyed it very much--like Rise of TPOTA, it's a simple good-vs.-evil story that's well told and leaves you thinking about our own short-sightedness. Andy Serkis gets top-billing, and it's well deserved.

    I think because of the new film that's why they're showing some of the
    Older ones. Hoping to see it this weekend. -{

    Agree a great film ... Saw it when it first released ;%

    Same here! I watch it often on DVD and for me it still holds up. I haven't seen the new one yet, but I'm looking forward to it because I enjoyed Rise of the Planet of the Apes quite a bit.

    yes thanks TP ,must have seen this film 20/30 times ,but only today
    must be due to the clarity of todays TVs , the spider in the bed scene
    you/I can see on Bonds bare arm the oval impression of a piece of glass
    so the spider wasn't actualy walking on Connery ,and surely that spider could have
    escaped out of the cage ,but still a great film and will watch it again and again :)

    As I recall, It's a totally different film :))
    It's not bad the special effects are great
    but it doesn't have the charm or the original.
    It's worth watching but not going to watch. :D

    Book, Heros in films always love old things,
    Books; cars, etc. The only thing they like young
    is their leading ladies. :))

    Just watched " The Golden Compass " , never had much interest in this as
    It's a kids film. Although on seeing it, it has a great story with plenty of action. -{
