As for Kruls behaviour, well its unsporting but I've seen it happen before with the keeper having "words" with the penalty taker etc nothing new but he was being a bit more obvious about it.

I think you will have a lot of fun with Van Gaal in England, never a boring moment. I curious to see how long it takes for him to P off every journalist in the press room. He is arrogant, obnoxious but for some reason a lot of players like to work with him. In the post game interview Van Gaal said that Krul was a better 'penalty killer' also, but not just, because he had a longer reach. By looking at the, albeit small, sample size of penalties stopped the last few years Krul stops 1 in 10 (2 for 20 since playing in Newcastle) while Cillissen hasn't stopped one in years.

Some baseball tournaments/competitions have a mercy rule (the game ends when one team leads by 10 or more points). Maybe football should adopt this rule too...
