I think you may be referencing to these ones for the trousers. They're sold as a part of the Sloop suit in "Nero lavato" (as I mentioned in a previous post)

    Massimo-Alba-nero-lava-corduroy-pants.png

Regarding the shoes or boots he wears with the Norway outfit, any clue by far. Could it possibly be something by C&J? If I don't remember wrong, they had to lunch something designed for NTTD...

Nothing on the boots as of yet.

Does any know what is the style name for the SLOOP trousers when they are sold separately? I believe the jacket name is CATCH.

TheBondExperience mentioned the trousers being from Massimo Alba in his review of the RAIN coat. Has there been any indication of this beyond just speculation?

The pants from the Sloop Suit has a tag on it with: "SLOOP /WINCH T0301" the pants he wears with the Connolly has the name: WINCH2 T0301. Member Cederic0011 managed the re-release of the MA-stuff he seems to have good connection to them so maybe he's able to convince MA to add the black pants to there Bond-Spiecial-Edition, would be great! like someone mentioned before; the Winch trousers are so comfortable and I would love to have a 3rd pair of it (Green-Grey/Desert/Black)

Theblack suit is indeed described with "nero lavato"

Many of you are familiar with issues on getting definitive answers from MA, and they like us, I think will need better photos of the trousers before we can be confident. Somewhere earlier in thread, some eagle eyed observer noted that the material on pocket entrance of black cords may be different to the trouser cloth - if this is the case, then SA trousers are not the WINCH/ SLOOP Nero Lavato trousers, as cloth at pocket entrance of these is same as rest of trousers. MA quite often use a contrasting fabric at pocket entrance, so quite plausible the fabric is different. This though could still be a lighting effect on photo ( see below). So while it’s likely they will be WINCH cut, and possibly in same fabric, colour ?, still hard to say as they have had a variety of cloth types (including velvet in same colour code!) which might possibly produce this look.

I asked MA as I guess others have, about doing a re-run of the black cords some time back, but was told so far, it will not be available. However probably best to wait, as still not clear which trousers they are and once we have a clear identification, the question can be asked again.

Was there ever a line of thinking proposed or floated that these outfits/pieces get their own threads? We're about to hit page 200 and I see a lot of lovely folks reposting the same info over and over on specific pieces for latecomers. Dedicated threads could mitigate that somewhat and make the established info easier to find (probably too late now, but it's an idea at that :)) )

Has the henley Bond is wearing been identified? :p

    Depends on which henley - please see pages 14, 33, 78, 126, and 175 ;)

    "function" is subjective, but yeah

    regarding the pants:

They are Massimo Alba. Just had confirmation from them ... but they don’t sell them anymore .. only as part of a suit. They are the winch pant. Have asked if there is enough interest .. would they consider making them as just trousers again.

I also thought the pants might be the sloop, but it turns out they are not. The Sloop pants have more warm tones and a brown look in certain lighting. I'm almost positive the pants are Winch, not Sloop, in micro baby corduroy just like the Matera ones, only they are a charcoal grey/black colorway. No longer in production. I might have picked up a pair, I'll try to post images when I have them in hand.

    Hey guys,

Just a tip that if you order the TF suits directly from Italy, it's considerably cheaper than the US MSRP (About $1k-$1500 cheaper).

The black sloop is also micro baby corduroy though. So the other thing that may be different is the name from an earlier season.

I received a reply from MA, they confirmed that the Mr Porter belt is the correct model which they provided for the wardrobe and they told me that there will be definitely a restock.
If the dark duster-outfit pants get identified as MA (through better pics like cederic suggested) I think there is a good chance that the pants get a re-release (hopefully)...

The problem would be if the pants are never officially IDed which sometimes is the case with these Bond items.
Example: the belt Bond wears with the Varvatos jacket in Spectre, still never IDed, the navy blue pants and the
blue long sleeve polo in Casino Royale, never IDed. It looks like the short sleeve henley worn with the Connolly might
end up fitting into that category as well.

You would think Massimo Alba would know if they supplied pants to pair with the duster for the wardrobe dept.....

MA might be just staggering things slowly hence crap comms

I knew about the Max2 belt ages ago but then they did a u-turn hence it was a shock to see it on Porter with the Bond link yesterday.

Getting Grey Winch info was a bit of a mission initially also

Has anyone purchased a Connolly linen lately?? Wondering if they ever fixed the button issue, or if we can simply expect them to be dark horn from here on out.

When did they promise new buttons? Also any update on garment bag and maybe a hanger?

They didn't. Just a hanger, garment bag, and a couple replacement buttons. (probably just 1 or 2 of the black ones)

My understanding was they were sending extra buttons and a garment bag. Not different buttons though, I think we are stuck with the dark horn buttons. I tried to communicate with them via email regarding exchanging my XXL to a XXXL but nothing back since last Thursday...
  • Considering that the garment bag, the hanger, and the extra buttons never showed up...
I wouldn't hold my breath on getting a complete replacement set of screen accurate buttons

I received my garment bag, hanger (which is a basic black plastic hanger without any logo or branding) and my spare buttons a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry, I guess I misunderstood what they were offering in their email to me. Not that it matters, because none of it showed up.

There's a medium and large Washed Graham remaining on this site:

    https://www.thebureaubelfast.com/shop/11723/navy-washed-graham-jacket

I think I ordered their last small so I don't think they have a lot of stock.

It is. But Cederic0011's post at the top of page 196 convinced me it's close enough to SA.

Plus, I got the small for $200 (the bigger sizes are somehow a little *more* expensive which I don't understand). I was on the fence about the jacket generally. But at that price, what the hell, why not?

curious, what size do you normally wear?
  • If anyone wants a size Medium Graham washed version, I literally received it in the mail 45 minutes ago,
    I got the last one on End. I'll sell it for what I bought it for, no profit. I want to say it was $265 US dollars. -{

Bosoxfan, A solid medium in most things. I'm curious to see how it translates with this jacket. Based on what I've read from everyone, it should be a good fit. But even if it's still big by traditional standards I don't hate a slightly looser fit. And I kinda like intended style of this jacket. On top of it, I have fairly broad shoulders so raglan sleeves are a godsend.

    MrE - how'd yours fit?
