Tonight's supermoon here was quite spectacular. Even though it was partly cloudy it looked stunning. Hoping all you AJBers in other countries get a good view later.
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.

A bit cloudy here in North Yorkshire but I'm hopeful, got good views of the blood moon earlier this year.

I've given up looking ! Over here it's always cloudy, you never see anything ! :#
Although once ( we were told by the local radio, to look for a fast moving star, as
That was the Space Shuttle !) I did spot it, even waved .... Didn't notice anyone wave
Back! Must have been a stuck up crew on that mission. :D
On an old QI, they mentioned that in "Denmark ?" I think, once a year they turn off the
Street lighting and broadcast on the radio a Le the on the stars, what to look for and
Other facts. Which I think would be fantastic.

Because of the cloud cover, only Norwegians going in planes will see the super Moen :#

Makes you wonder why the Nazi's ever built a secret base on it in the first place. ;)

I just spoke with my younger sister on the phone. It turns out she has an interesting job, a manager position in railways. It includes responsibility for the railway on the Ice Planet Hoth :007)

That's the best I've had.... Super moon eh? :# I wonder if there has been more lunacy and bad behaviour tonight?

I'm a bit disappointed with the super moon :#

My grandfather believed a full moon is favourable for shaving and fishing.

There is a local valley near to me, which at several times of the year ( because of its position
In the sky) the moon can look huge.

Almost another school massacre in Finland again :

    svenska.yle.fi/artikel/2016/11/11/ung-kvinna-ville-skjuta-minst-40-personer-i-karlebyskola-bestallde-pistol-gevar

Planned to kill 40 people with cal 22 , 2 clips/300 bullets , sawed off shot gun , gas and hand grenades. She wanted to use the gas first then start shooting.

Planned this since summer 2014 and a person was paid 2600 euros for weapons and to rob a bank so that police would not get to the school in time.

However, I once met a young Norwegian man who loves surfing in Arctic waters, living in in a hut made of driftwood and who only eats food past the sell-by date. Nice fellow :)

Food is bloody expensive in Norway , it's prolly more common than we think. I buy milk/bread/pork after expiration , why pay the silly prices when you can get 50% ?:)

I saw the moon this morning while still dark and it was bigger and impressive obviously there was an optimum time to view it.

I'll be looking forward to getting my tree in about 4 weeks. I always get a Norwegian blue spruce or a Scots fir.

The tree has been sent to London since the late 1940's as a thank you for for the help and support from the British people during the German occupation. It's very nice that the tree gets such a central position in London and so many people seem to enjoy it. :) p

At least someone on the continent still likes us :# and has a memory.
I've been stuck in a radio deadzone today, gave me chance to listen to some of my music collection, in fact it turned into a Scottish / Irish listenathon, simple minds, big country live at the BBC and the magnificent Rory Gallagher rip

Norway was featured in our local news tonight. In a story concerning the reintroduction
of the commercial boarder between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. It
didn't seem to be too much of a hindrance.

    Just came across with this.

Jean Clause Biver is Mr. 100.000 Volts - His authority about watches and marketing is tremendous and his thoughts are always worth to consider.

I've had the privilege meeting him several times in person and I hope that this will be valuable for some of us.
It's not only about watches - I promise

I see that the poor British taxpayer has to fund another £369 million to renovate Buckingham Palace. Meanwhile in the real world millions of citizens are juggling finances to make ends meet. "We are all in it together"" we were told - well not everyone it seems.
