The Sanders in Snuff Suede - definitely not the class and style of C&J Tetbury's, but growing on me.

I wonder the same thing. But then the website said more jackets would be on sale there last week and it hasn't happened yet. A waiting list of 19 already is very impressive, considering the £100 deposit.

I actually prefer the look of these against the C&J. They have really grown on me, at first I thought the sole looked big, but now they look normal. I feel these are better for casual walking, and being around, which means I can wear them more often as opposed to the C&J.

    Hey guys

Been away for a while sorting out my new career...

Just want to put a shout out (as others have) to JV, both cust serv and the London store. Rarely have I encountered such great all round service. Anyway, back in to the Bond obsession and deposit paid for Oct delivery. Hope the L was the way to go for 41 uk chest !!!

Baby due Oct so very exciting end to 2015 coming up !

Picked up the Sanders as well, I was hesitant at first because of the large sole but now I like it.

    Hi
How do you find the fit of these? I normally take an 8.5/9 wide but it seem this only come in 1 width fitting and previous posts suggest they are a little small. Would be curious to know how you find the fit?

I love mine - I've seen a few comparisons with CJs, obviously quality is not up there with CJ however nor is the price!!!
These will be superb for generally knocking about in!!!

I usually wear a 9 1/2 US but they recommend you size up 1/2 size bigger because of the smaller fit so I got size 10 and they fit perfectly but they are definitely a tighter fit then my tetburys or clarks.

Well they are tight at the top of the foot however after wearing them around the house for a few days they have broke in and a lot better. I did think maybe sizing up would have been a good idea however I do have room at the heel so don't think this would have been a solution (for me anyhow)

I looked around for the best deal and I'm sure one website had half sizes so maybe have a search???????

When they took my order, I asked about sizes and the lady handed me across to one of the store assistants - he said medium was 38-40, so L should be right!

Fab cheers. They reckoned that too, its always a little gamble as height, shoulders and general shape affect the fit. Think im pretty standard though so should be good !

The 22mm will best fit a 45.5mm case PO (I have one), but a SMP will need a 19-20mm strap.

The SM300 re-issue with a 42mm case you would have thought would need only a 19-20mm, but those that have them report the lugs being wider spaced and taking the 22mm strap.

    Hopefully that's clearer than mud!

Interesting though ... he showed me a leather jacket that is going to be in a Autumn blockbuster, which they had right there in the store. He couldn't tell me what the blockbuster was of course !

Was it a black leather jacket (not suede) with at least one horizontal zip pocket on the left upper chest??

If so, I'm guessing it might be the John Connor jacket from the next Terminator movie, which there is the briefest appearance of at the end of Trailer 2

I was referring to the Seamster 300 Master Co-Axial as seen in SPECTRE (was told it required the 22mm)

a Brosnan era seamaster, PO, or the new spectre one.

Well PO come in two diff sizes (42mm and 45mm) so they will be different for a start depending which one you have

I believe the smaller Nato will be for:

    Old Seamaster
    42mm PO

    larger Nato:

    45mm PO
    New SPECTRE seamaster

Maybe double check with the retailer who you buy the Omega NATO from to be on safe side

    To confuse this more _

I wanted to buy the NATO and put it on my PO CR (45.5) and then see what Omega does re the Spectre SM300 nearer film release.

If nothing then I would buy the SM300 and move the NATO across to it.

Asked two official boutiques and both have recommended the 21-22 for the PO CR obviously, but stated this would be too large for the spectre SM300 and the smaller is a better fit for this model.

Not what I wanted to hear so have held off getting a NATO. Ideally the 21-22 would fit the 45.5 PO and then Spectre SM300. But not the case unless someone confirms the 21-22 is on their SM300 and fits ok ???

Proving that the dealers know little to nothing 8-) 8-) 8-)

Hmm interesting, I was told the new SM300 Master requires 21-22 due to the lugs

Maybe best this discussion moves to the watch porn thread as I believe quite a few have this combo and maybe missing this query?

another question, are the SPECTRE ties the same width as the SF ones?

See you've dug up an old reply on the watch thread. Given owners of the sm300 mc spectre seem to have gone 22mm, might do the same, fit it on my PO 45.5 and then hope it will go on the sm300 if Omega don't release it as a one'r :)

Cheers Welshie, btw, for a 41-42 chest do you think the L JV will be about right, given I'll prob wear NP beneath ?

For those interested in "frugal" alternative to the Tom Ford, Solden Nylon front jacket, some photos of the Super.Natural combustion jacket that someone previously recommended on this thread. Currently on sale at Sierra Trading (import duty though for UK buyers). Does have an SN logo on the sleeve and all down zip tape which shows when undone. http://www.sierratradingpost.com/supernatural-combustion-cloud-jacket-340-merino-wool-blend-insulated-for-men~p~8980w/?filterString=s~combustion%2F&colorFamily=02
